I'm a writer and film-maker, born in  Northumberland.

Just a Trim won a Sony Radio Award and earned me the title of BBC North Playwright of the Year. 
I won the first Northern Echo New Novelist of the Year award.

I've written five crime novels in the popular Kitty Lockwood series: -
