Karel Stoop (b. 1951, Made, Netherlands) is a Dutch abstract painter known for emotionally intuitive, layered compositions. Educated in the Netherlands and Barcelona, his work is shaped by global travels and deep existential inquiry. Stoop paints exclusively in Tarragona, Spain, where he explores themes of transformation, perception, and universal connection.
