Emanuel Moss

Emanuel Moss conducts ethnographic research on issues of ethics, fairness, and accountability in AI systems. He is a Joint Postdoctoral Researcher for the AI on the Ground Initiative (AIGI) at Data & Society and the Digital Life Initiative at Cornell Tech. His doctoral work produced an ethnography of machine learning investigating the role of data scientists as producers of knowledge.
