I am a person with #Type1Diabetes. I was diagnosed in my first term in university while studying for an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering. I wanted to be a helicopter pilot! 
I am now also a parent of a teen with #T1D. 
I spend my time shouting about T1D being misunderstood, sewing a wee bit and chatting to people in the Diabetes Community.
I also work for a Type 1 Charity in Community Events (This is a personal account and all views are entirely my own)
